Scarlett Almena Seo is a 19-year-old Korean-Latin American student of the performing arts attending recreational dance courses in alternate NYC as the class’ top student in preparation for one prestigious dance university’s auditions for applicants. However, while she spends practices perfecting more elegant contemporary dances and ballet, swing is the dance that truly holds her heart.

In her vigorous journey towards her craft, Scarlett’s endeavors create her challenges and challenges quickly create her enemies in the form of less-than-friendly competition and financial trouble. Soon Scarlett finds herself overworked and in less than ideal practice conditions, and in attempt to power through several late nights of back alley dance sessions, eventually one bite and a health scare will threaten to change everything she knows.
